In the remote coastal village of Hope Harbor near the DMZ, a hard-boiled police chief investigates the bizarre mutilation of local cattle, only to uncover a catastrophic threat of cosmic proportions. As a local militia ventures into the mountains, they discover they are not hunting a wild predator, but are instead trapped alongside an unstoppable humanoid monster and a faction of crashed alien invaders searching for their lost infant.
