Explicitly set in 1993 to capture the peak arcade-era aesthetic of Super Street Fighter II, Street Fighter (2026) centers on the fractured brotherhood and rivalry of estranged martial artists Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo). The duo are thrown back into combat when a mysterious operative named Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the World Warrior Tournament, a brutal global clash of fists. However, behind this high-stakes battle royale lies a deadly conspiracy orchestrated by the ruthless M. Bison (David Dastmalchian) and his global criminal syndicate, Shadaloo. To prevent the world from plunging into total chaos, the former allies must navigate their deep personal history and confront the demons of their past alongside iconic fighters like Guile, Akuma, and Blanka.
